Influencer manager for Insta

My project

We are living in a world where a new kind of power has emerged in marketing. I mean a powerfull tool on social media for brands and companies that sell goods.

I am speaking about the revolution of influencers : these people who make a living by posting pictures on Instagram or promoting products.

Companies and brands are willing to pay them a lot of money to be promoted by influencers especially on Insta. This new type of player in the industry needs then to manage its social media perfectly. It means that the biggest players have a team behind their posts.
This is where my project called "Influencer manager for Insta" has its usefulness.

Concretely I has created an API that allows the translation of the Instagram post into a professional tool. This technological instrument that I developed works in two steps:
First, as the influencer's communication team has prepared all the elements of the post and publishes it, my APIs will record it in a spreadsheet. This sheet will then be used to list the different posts and can be enhanced with personal notes. Indeed, a spreadsheet is an object that can be easily manipulated and is used in abundance in the professional environment. This is not enough and this application goes further.
Secondly, the APIs will notify the whole team of the influencer using another professional tool: Slack. The post, once translated into a table line will automatically appear on the chosen slack thread. This will not only warn everyone of the post but also allow to react quickly. By posting a comment under the Slack publication, a team member can notify of an error or better... congratulate the team on the work accomplished.

Basically, my APIs is really the reflection of an Insta post in the professional and teamwork field.

How it works

For the implementation of this technology into an APIs, I used Zapier. Zapier allowed me to connect Instagram, Google Spreadsheet and Slack together. Let me explain you how you can make this technology happens.

You need first to connect you Insta account and choose the event :"new media posted on my account"

Then you will have to sign in your google account to let the APIs access your drive. Make sure then you create a spreadsheet with 3 columns called : "Post"; "Media"; "Bio" and link it to Zapier.

Finally, create a Slack workspace and log in with your IDs on Zapier to link Slack to your APIs.
In the tab "Customize Channel Message" enter the template of your slack message that will be displayed in the thread. You can add the link of your post by connecting Insta and the picture by extracting it from your Spreadsheet for instance.
